About Varsity Properties
Hours: Monday - Friday 11am to 5pm, Saturday 12pm to 4pm, and Sunday by appointment
All of our Varsity Villas, Varsity Court, and Cedar Creek units include modern appliances such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwave ovens and garbage disposals. All of our units are situated in reputable and safe complexes and offer convenient access to campus and are located close to campus bus lines.
Experienced, competent and friendly maintenance service is also provided with our units. We currently have five full-time maintenance employees with approximately fifty years of experience between them. Emergency maintenance is available 24 hours each day every day of the year.
Our Varsity Villas and Varsity Court units are ideal for three to five individuals per unit, while our Cedar Creek units seem best suited for two to three individuals per unit.
Tenants are responsible for arranging (prior to move-in) and paying for their own utilities. At Varsity Villas, assuming typical use, electricity and water tends to run approximately $100 to $120 per month, when averaged over the course of an entire year. At Cedar Creek electricity and water tends to run approximately $80 to $100 per month, when averaged over the course of an entire year. Phone and cable prices vary depending upon the type of features and packages you decide to purchase.
When you sign a lease with us we require only that you complete an application and pay a security deposit for your unit which does not constitute rent but typically is equal to one month's rent. At that time, or shortly thereafter, a unit within your desired complex will be assigned to you. We encourage you to view the actual unit that you will be renting. When signing a Lease we ask that your entire leasing party be present but if logistical difficulties prevent this, we will work around you and your roommate's busy schedules.
Other details regarding the landlord/tenant relationship are outlined in our Lease which we have attempted to draft in a straight-forward manner. You are welcome to take a copy of our Lease with you for your or your parent's review. We are also more than willing to answer any questions you or your parents might have about our Lease. Our office hours through April will be from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturdays and Sundays. Beginning May 1 our office hours will be 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
